What Changes the Price
A few things move a newborn session from one end of the range to the other.
Session Length
Newborns set the pace. Thirty minutes leaves room for a few wrapped poses. Two to four hours allow for feeding and settling breaks, more setups, lifestyle images, and family photos without anyone watching the clock.
Number of Edited Images
The collections include 5, 15, 25, or every edited image. Elegance and Prestige also let you purchase more images once you see your gallery. If you already know you want enough photos to fill an album, choose a collection with the image count to match.
Prints and Albums
Prestige includes one 8x10 fine art print, and Legacy includes five. If you are picturing a canvas above the crib or an album for the grandparents, tell Karissa before your session. She can plan framing and poses around the prints you actually want, and walk you through the printed options for your gallery.
Adding Family and Siblings
Family and sibling photos are a $50 add on to the Elegance Collection and are included in Prestige and Legacy. Newborn and Sibling Photography in Appleton has ideas for including big brothers and sisters. If you would like more wrapped poses than your collection includes, additional poses are $50 each, up to three.
Rush Editing
If you need your images sooner, for a birth announcement or a visit from family, two day rush editing is $150. Ask about availability when you book.
When to Book
Newborn sessions are scheduled within the first two weeks after birth. In those early days babies sleep deeply and curl into the soft, tucked poses that fade quickly. Because that window is short, the best time to reserve is during pregnancy. Your spot is held around your due date, and the exact day is set once your baby arrives.
If you would like maternity photos too, the Maternity and Newborn Bundle pairs both sessions. It starts at $580 for the Basic bundle with 30 edited images, and the Prestige bundle is $770 with 50 edited images.
