Karissa Leigh Designs is based in Wesley Chapel, so wherever you live along Meadow Pointe Boulevard, the studio is close and you are home again before the next feed.
Plan Before Baby Arrives
Newborn photos are taken in the first two weeks, while babies still sleep deeply and fold into those curled, womblike poses. Because that window is short, most sessions are reserved during pregnancy. You share your due date, then send a quick message once your baby is born so Karissa can set the exact day. Both Wesley Chapel hospitals are a short drive from Meadow Pointe, so the trip from delivery to studio stays local.
Three Ways to Do It
Wrapped Minimal is 30 minutes of simple wrapped portraits with five finished images, for families who want a few timeless photos without a long morning. Newborn Elegance gives a full hour for more poses and color sets. Newborn Prestige allows two unhurried hours, adds lifestyle images to the wrapped poses, includes family photos, and comes with an 8x10 fine art print.
What Happens in the Studio
The room is warm, white noise hums in the background, and every wrap, bonnet and basket is laid out before you arrive. Your job is to bring your baby, what you need for a feed, and anything with a story behind it, like a knitted blanket from Grandma. Karissa follows your baby's lead, with time built in for feeding and settling. Big brothers and sisters are welcome, and they are photographed first while their patience is still fresh.
Decide Where They Will Live
Two questions make a newborn gallery better. Which photo would you be heartbroken not to have? And where will these photos end up: framed above the crib, in an album for the grandparents, or on your birth announcements? Answer both before your session and Karissa will plan poses and framing around the prints you actually want. Parents who know the answer ahead of time rarely look back and wish they had one more angle.
