Karissa Leigh Designs is based in neighboring Wesley Chapel, so the studio is a short drive for Lutz families. That matters more than you might expect when your baby is ten days old and every outing needs a diaper bag, a feeding plan and a spare outfit.
Timing Your Session
Newborn sessions happen within the first two weeks after birth, when babies sleep soundly and settle easily into curled, wrapped poses. The simplest approach is to reserve during your second trimester. Once your baby arrives, send a quick message and we will set the date together.
A Calm, Baby Led Session
The studio stays warm, with soft light and white noise in the background. All wraps, bonnets, baskets and props are provided, so you can leave the styling to Karissa. Feeding breaks, diaper changes and cuddles are part of the plan, not interruptions. If your family includes a big sister, a big brother or a much loved dog, ask about bringing them in for a few photos together.
From the Nursery Wall to the Album
The session is only the start. The photos are what stay. Before your date, think about which image you would be heartbroken not to get, and where your favorites will end up. A large print over the nursery dresser? A small album for Grandma? Birth announcements for friends back home? Knowing this ahead of time lets Karissa plan for the shots that matter most to you.
Growing Up in Lutz
