Fall minis are the one time of year I open a short list of shorter sessions, and in Tampa they are the fastest thing on my calendar to fill. Here is everything you need to know before you book for 2026.
The Dates and the Location
This year's Tampa fall minis run October 23, 24 and 25 at Eagle Park in Wesley Chapel. All three days are golden hour timeslots, which in late October means warm, low, forgiving light and none of the harsh midday sun we spend the rest of the year working around.
There are only twelve spots across the three days. That is not a marketing line, it is simply how many golden hour slots exist across one weekend.
What Is Included
Every fall mini is $290 plus tax and includes a full gallery of edited images with a print release, so you can order cards, prints and gifts wherever you like. There is no separate image package to choose afterward and nothing is held back.
Who a Mini Is Right For
Minis are short and focused, which makes them ideal for families who mainly want a beautiful updated portrait for the wall and for holiday cards. If you have a newborn, a toddler who needs time to warm up, or you want a wider variety of setups and outfit changes, a full session serves you much better. I would rather tell you that now than have you feel rushed on the day.
What to Wear
Florida fall is still Florida. Skip the heavy knits and think about fabrics that move: linen, cotton, flowing dresses in cream, camel, sage, dusty blue and soft rust. Choose one or two base colors for the family and let everyone vary within them rather than matching exactly. Barefoot works beautifully at Eagle Park.

About Holiday Cards
These dates are chosen so that galleries land with room to order cards comfortably. If holiday cards are the whole reason you are booking, take the earliest date that works for you rather than the last one. Late October is already tight for the cheapest card shipping, and every year a few families cut it closer than they meant to.
