Meet Karissa — Newborn & Maternity Photographer Based in WI & FL

Hi, I'm Karissa—owner and photographer behind Karissa Leigh Photography. My love for photography started over a decade ago in Florida, where I had the incredible opportunity to assist a well-known wedding photographer. That experience sparked a passion in me for capturing the fleeting, meaningful moments that tell a story.

We have been in Wisconsin for about 10 years now and are now in FL again! I’ve fully embraced the dream of running my own photography business—because life is too short not to follow what lights you up. I specialize in newborn and golden hour sessions, drawn to the soft, warm glow just before sunset and the pure sweetness of new life.

As a wife and mom to four spirited girls (yes, all divas!) and one precious baby boy, I know just how quickly time passes. My children are often my muses—always ready to explore a new idea or location with me as my little models.

I believe every photographer has a unique style, and that’s the beauty of this art form. My goal is to create timeless, emotional imagery that reflects your family’s story, with warmth, softness, and authenticity.
